Eccentric

I spent most of the day working on the arrangements for my trip at the end of spring. I took a ride over to Barnes and Noble to get another book on Morocco and I got the one and only book there was on the subject. Should I assume that is because it's such a popular place to go or should I be worried that nobody goes there? I'm not sure.
I normally do all the bookings and such online and use various sites and travel forums as well as books to make an itinerary. To me, half the adventure is in the planning. I do think I overdid it today though. I even forgot to eat!!! If you know me, you know that is just about the funniest thing ever.
Speaking of funny, I stopped at my parent's house on my way back from the bookstore as it was my nephew's birthday today and I had a funny card to drop off to him. My parents are raising my youngest brother's two boys (which is another blip altogether) and their mother is pretty *eccentric. She had brought over a few rather interesting gifts for my nephew. One of which I'm wearing in this blip. As you can imagine, a fourteen year old boy was not too thrilled with this hat as a gift. Although his older brother (15) thought it was quite funny and decided he would take it off his hands. Meanwhile I just had to try it on and I took a quick photo with my smartphone as everyone had a good laugh about it. It's quite clearly a penguin however my nephew said "the worst part is that my mom thought it was an owl". Like I said, she's a bit *eccentric.
