Gates of Flemington

Another last day today, this time my last shift with the agency that I've worked with since I first arrived in Melbourne, and my last shift at Flemington Racecourse. Normally, I take a different route into the Racecourse but this time I took the scenic route, going through this rose bush covered path and through the main gates. So pretty! I love this picture, especially the little moon still visible above the gate.

It was a good last day of work, but I'm glad to go back into vacation mode again before I try my luck with fruit picking. After work I went out for dinner with Kylie and Laura (aka the people whose lives I took over for the last 3 weeks) to an American diner to get my chicken wing fix. They don't have proper buffalo wings here and, it's silly but it's one of the things I miss about Canada!
