Making Waves

This is the latest project in the 'Get to the End of the Stash' campaign. I had one ball of this yarn, a linen and silk mixture in various shades of blue and grey. It's one of those which looks nicer in the skein than in the product ... and it feels a little rough when knitted up. The pattern is 'Old Shale', the easiest lace pattern in the book. I'm hoping it will look and handle a lot better after it has been washed ....

A cold, misty day.  Our last Zoom session with Hannah, Robyn will be back next week. It's nice having a different leader from time to time. One of our members took part from her bed this morning - I think she was just feeling tired, not ill. 

Now it's time for Bed Time Story with the Kingston Grandchildren. I think we're just about to set sail on the Titanic - doesn't sound like a good move ....
