Red Sky in the Morning.....

This morning’s dawn sky was amazing. The big pool shown here is shrinking by the day. I’ve seen hundreds of tiny rings on the surface. They sweep around on the surface of the pool as if creatures are moving under the surface. I suspect there are lots of eels living in the pool for now... An eel haven. We missed out on getting any rain yesterday..... and none today. A very warm north-west wind all day. Leaves are falling off quite a few trees. I guess they are stressed by the lack of rain. But on the other hand our friends who have vineyards do not want rain as their grapes ripen in the dry hot weather and vintage nears.
