keeping a loose grip...

on things can be good sometimes.

I do not know the circumstances of this liberated helium balloon - whether it was launched with a purpose, or just got away from the owner. But it did make me smile, because it was a love note from God to let me know there is beauty in letting things go.

Just an hour before seeing this balloon I learned that a trip I had planned since July, 2012, to go to the Holy Land this April, 2013, was cancelled. And for good reason, i.e. concern for safety in the Middle East at this time. And with full recompense, or with added features for rescheduling for next fall.
So this one should be an easy one to let go - but still I feel a bit deflated.
