Polar Tulip

I spent far too long playing around with a dead tulip,  I had two but one was too fragile to survive any handling and lost what few petals remained; individually the petal did still make interesting images.  I persisted with the remaining tulip - cautiously.  I was determined to keep to black and white to enhance texture but it was challenging - the background needed to be textured or at least not plain.  Maybe another day.  In the end I tried out the polar coordinates - interesting - and then returned to a colour version (extra).  

A judging session for a local club I would drive to in normal circumstances - abstract theme. No scoring - just places and commendeds/highly commendeds.  MUCH better than numbers and far more fun to critique.
