Glowing

What a lovely day of sunshine today. This is the Amaryllis, still blooming and glowing in the light streaming in through the open door. I liked the shadows it was throwing. 

A morning of house stuff. We finished early and I got all the washing dry outside. Then there was time for sitting in the sun . . . reading. 

Extra - newly published and arrived today. Looking forward later to a Guardian Live 'Evening with Kazuo Ishiguru'. A bit of a strain on our broadband, as Gordon will be streaming football (Carlisle) at the same time. (More work on the fibre today - cable being pulled through ducting at various points in the village.)
