A very chilly start to the morning  with low cloud clover which showed no sign of dispersing.

The staff in Pollok Park were very busy this morning .... draining a large puddle in one of the fields and cutting back a removing dead branches from some of the rhododendron bushes before they completely obliterated the path. 

There was a lovely warming bonfire burning up the debris.  A great reminder of my days in the Guides. I just wish that I had had some marshmallows in my bag ..... a marshmallow toasted on an open fire is very sticky, sweet and yummy!
