Polperro

Ann's on holiday for two weeks. Yay! We're going to spend the next two weeks doing lots of fun things together.

......Well, that wasn't what I thought when she put me in the car this morning and drove me off to Trago Mills at Liskeard. For those of you who don't live in Devon or Cornwall; Trago Mills is like a big massive cheap department store. It has loads of designer brands of everything. Ann bought some very comfy 'Merrell trainers' for £29.99 - Just checked on the 'Merrell' website and they're normally £90!!

I was really cross because she left me in the car and I had to wait for ages. But do you know what? When she came back she had four really big bags of different types of 'chews' for me. ' Trago' sells them in 'bulk' size bags so they'll last me for about four months. I've already had one - yum, yum!

The other good thing about the 'Liskeard Trago's' is; the river walk. It goes along the river and round some ponds and through some woods. The only bad thing about it is; I had to stay on my lead because there were hens, ducks & swans all over the place. But ho hum, that was OK because normally when Ann goes shopping I don't get a walk at all.

Anyway after that, off we went to 'Polperro' to visit another place that started with 'P' for our Cornish P challenge. Polperro is lovely. Very picturesque with lots of lovely little shops. We had a late lunch in the 'Three Pilchards'. Ann had a bowl of creamy curried prawns and some garlic bread and even though I rested my head on her knee and gave her my appealing look she didn't give me any?!! Boohooo!

Because I'd had to stay on my lead in Polperro, Ann said she'd take me to Looe for a bit of a run around on the beach. The other reason she wanted to go to Looe; was because she'd been told (by a 'Welcome to Cornwall' trainer), that it was possible to walk to 'Looe Island' when the tide was out. And the tide was out. We couldn't walk to Looe Island??!! And having looked on their website, apparently it's only possible to do this twice a year. Well we don't think that, that counts as an island in Cornwall that you can walk to?! In our opinion 'St Michael's Mount' is the only island that you can walk to.

So, that's been our day....................

....................We're both exhausted now. Need to have an early night 'cos we're off to meet fellow Blipper ValC tomorrow.

Toodle pip. x
