It's A small World

This morning this cicada was in just the right spot on the tree beside the back deck.  It stopped singing when camera and I approached but then resumed.  I took 12 images and reduced that to five by deleting the not sharp ones.  I liked all five because each angle caught a different background.  The green in this one is from the wall of the house and the brown is from the roof above the deck.  In the extra I liked the angle of the insect but felt the boken circles were distracting.  I made a collage but that didn't have any harmony and didn't show the detail of the insect.  That has been occupying  my little mind this afternoon.
