Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Bubble time ...

... with The Yogamama. It feels strange not being able to hug and get close but we had a fabulous evening of just hanging out together. TY’s settee is like an office, covered in books, papers, iPads and blankets. Everything within arm’s reach. You could rule the world from that sofa, it’s so well equipped.

Our day had started with the annual ritual of jet washing the patio, which never proceeds simply. This year I managed to break the machine and had to go out and get a new one. I was in TSM’s bad books for a while but all was forgiven when the stonework eventually scrubbed up nicely. I paid for the installation after my mum died five years ago so we call it The Amy Lloyd Memorial Patio in her honour; every year it is recreated anew with flowers and tubs and canopies and stars (of the electrical variety). Phase 1 (cleaning) is now complete and we have some sunshade up. We are looking to IKEA for some new garden furniture, when they have stock; The Dizzle has given strict instructions about the kind of seating he and Mystic Em want for lovebirds to snuggle up in.

Not warm but very sunny today. We are due a few days dry weather so hopefully I can finish getting the garden in order before the really good weather kicks in ...
