Back garden

Today's the day …………………… to be elsewhere

It was a lovely sunny, mild afternoon when I got back home from my walk this afternoon.  It would have been very pleasant to sit in the back garden and have a cup of tea - and there were two seats ready and waiting.  But I had other plans.

I didn't want to be anywhere other than in front of the TV, with the curtains drawn, watching the Six Nations Rugby Union game - Wales v England.  And what an absorbing and interesting match it turned out to be.  Any England supporter would probably use different words to describe it (!) - but, when all was said and done, the final score was Wales 40 - England 24.

So Wales are the winners of the Triple Crown - and everyone in this house is very happy ……………………...
