Today's the day ………………………. for the colour purple

I'm sure that everything has grown at least two inches in the last few days of sunny weather.  The spring bulbs are pushing up through the ground at a tremendous rate - and these crocuses burst into flower today.

For me, they are the nicest of flowers - featuring as they do - my two most favourite colours …………………. 

PS  Because of the wonder that is blipfoto,  I was looking back through the years of blips that I posted on this particular day.  Seven years ago was a very special one that made me feel very happy to see it again!
