Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Spring! At last.

A busy day all round. Well, more so for some in this household than others.

JR started at 9am with the ‘Gym Bunnies’ zoom session, and after that she had zoom Pilates. Then a quick visit to Waitrose and back home in time for her fast walk with a gym pal (over 14,000 steps). Phew!

Archie had a busy day too, as he went out with Elizabeth for most of the day.

I, on the other hand, relaxed on the sofa all afternoon as there were two rugby matches on. But that’s why I took Archie out in the morning. We called in to see Rufus and his mum. It was sunny and spring-like and we sat in the front garden. The crocuses in the Meadows are abounding, which is a cheering sight.

The first game, Ireland v Italy, I only had one eye on, because it was a forgone conclusion, so I got the papers read. But well done Wales, though a few dodgy referee decisions... Shame that tomorrow’s Scotland/France game has been postponed due to a COVID outbreak in the French camp.
