Food on Tap

That's the grass for the sheep, not the sheep themselves! Another lovely walk over to the outskirts of Letheringsett this morning where these sheep have been established in a temporary home on one of the fields. So nice to actually see Nature on a walk, rather than pavements and houses. Absolutely no side effects today after my jab yesterday bar a very slightly sore arm - so that was just a tired couple of hours yesterday, so much better than I normally am when I get a flu jab.

Day 348 / Day 53 of Lockdown 3 (for my record only)
UK deaths up 290 to 122,705 (revised basis), with 7,434 new cases, 14,808 patients in hospital, 1.971on ventilation (lowest since 29th Dec) and 1,111 new admissions. New cases look like they might be starting to go up again in Italy, France and Germany. c19.7m have now received their first dose of the vaccine. Norfolk and Norwich hospital staff are now using LAMP Covid tests which only need a sample of saliva once a week and positive tests do not require an additional PCR test. Ambulance crews are reporting a wave of mental heath problems as a consequence of the Winter pandemic. The Chancellor says that low interest rates on the £280bn coronovirus support spending leaves us exposed to interest rate risk (I wonder why the debt can't be fixed at current rates?). Today was the funeral of Capt Sir Tom Moore, which was marked with a flypast by a WWII era Dakota,  his coffin was carried by six members of the Yorkshire Regiment, and his No.1 record with Michael Ball played at the service.
