Hanging out the washing

This is the first day this year that I have had washing out and it has dried. A lovely day. It was also the first morning that I woke to birdsong - delightful. 

We don't often get Siskins to the feeders, but they do like the Niger Seed. This is not a good photo because of the amount of shadow, but I like how it shows the upside down way of getting to the seed. It also shows the forked tail, one way of telling them from Greenfinches.
