Crocus in the woodland garden

So called woodland garden. There’s a patch by the gate that has a lot of self seeded hellebores so i thought I’d add in a brighter coloured one.  But I love these purple crocus. I always thought they were a disappointing flower, flattened in the rain in muddy parks but when the sun shines on them and they open up they are a true delight.
