Link with the Past

Etched into an old wall which surrounds a churchyard in Cowes there seems to be a link with the builder from long ago. Where some of the brickwork has fallen away there is marked into the mortar the words GHGUSTAR FEB 30th 1930.

Whether this is original or not who can tell?.

I loved the colours and textures of the old bricks so had to snap them.
