Topinambours!

Lovely day - went to the allotment. First time this year I'd been able to do some work, eg a bit of digging, compost spreading, etc. Thought I ought to dig up the remaining two Jerusalem fartichoke plants and was alarmed to find this artichoke mountain - just weighed them and there's over 3 kilos of the blighters. I shall have to take some to the market tomorrow and see if I can give some away.

The rest of the day was mostly mathematical.
