Today my dad called: there was something wrong with the data collecting from the solar panels inverter. To him, that’s a major problem because for some reason he’s afraid the panels will suddenly stop working. Therefore he needs to monitor the energy the panels are generating. This used to be done through a device that was sending the data to some server in China. This stopped working quite a few months ago, after which I set up a solution using a tiny Raspberry Pi computer. Today, the network connection of this computer failed. My mother is still in hospital, but she received some instructions from the physiotherapist and that seemed to mostly fix her breathing issues. There is still something wrong with her blood but at least she’s feeling better. She’s planned for a PET scan tomorrow and then she will probably be discharged after that...
