What a glorious morning to go for a run this morning. First time we've started in the daylight. Nice round nine miles this morning and I came home in a nice pace 9'42" which pleased me as it was quite hilly. This is the view of my hometown

Spent the last couple of days arranging spring and summer holidays. Off to a wee cottage in Windermere in May and off in the campervan to Hopeman for a fortnight in August. Hopeman has to be my favourite place on the planet. Fantastic beaches and the weather is always decent. Also, being in the East means not so much trouble with the dreaded midge. Best of all though is that I know the place quite well so I can keep up my exercise routine - classes in Elgin and smashing runs (although it is a bit flat for my liking).
