Discovery

On taking this book from the shelf I was staggered to see its date of presentation: 131 years ago, in February 1890! It's a collection of Oliver Goldsmith's works and comes from someone in MrJ's family. There are fine illustrations in it, and it was certainly a compliment to Fanny, the recipient.

Looks like I'ld better explore our bookshelves and see what other old delights are there....a few future blips, I reckon.
