Use before Beauty

Pods, closed and cut open, of Doryanthes palmeri....filched (with permission!) from our local medical centre. The 3 pods (see Extra for whole pods) are c.13cmx4.5, 13x4, and the baby 11x3. The inside discoloured as soon as exposed.
Each flower 'head' must have dozens of pods...it's not called Giant Spear Lily for nothing. Imagine being pregnant with that little lot!
