Sea shells
Beautiful, but breezy, day so once the washing was out we headed across the river for a forest run, though actually most of mine was on the beach or salt marsh.
The tide was out, allowing the route across to the point, which is a great place to be but can be hard work as the sand is very soft in places. The shells were in a gap in the dunes that make up the point.
The extra is of a cattle trough fed by a solar-powered pump, it used to be powered by a small windmill.
The return route was more in the woods, esp as the headwind made going hard on the edge path, but then there were tree-planted dunes to cope with. A great day to be out.
Later I finished the jigsaw, made good progress with sewing projects and phoned mum and daughter.
