Ladybird, Ladybird Can't Fly Away Home

A male brimstone butterfly fluttered frantically along the front hedge in the sunshine this morning. The 2021 bug season has begun. :) I usually post a zebra jumping spider about this time every year. I did photograph some on the south-facing wall of disused glasshouse number thirteen.

I've decided to feature a tiny, hairy or twenty-four-spot ladybird. Unlike other ladybirds these feed on vegetable matter and in the UK they do not have wings under their wing cases.
