A long tail #28 watch the birdy

We slept ok.......turned off hubs oxygen around 4am. We agreed that if I woke up early morning Id turn it off, as he feels he comes around more quickly in the morning having not used it for a couple of hours.

Breakfast in bed as usual, very windy during the night, it did disturb us a few times, but we didnt wake until just before 9, not too bad ;-)

Hub decided he wanted to go to Iceland today!
No not the country, the shop! His first "shopping outing" since early Nov! We drove into town, went for our coffee first, then to Iceland. Hub was very quickly frustrated by peoples antics, no patience waiting/queuing, much closer than 2 metres, even a couple of people without masks, presumably exempt, but boy did he give them a glare lol! He chose things he fancied, two bags of prawns, two bags of fresh frozen fruit, some yorkshire pudds, a bar of bournville chocolate, amongst a few other things that I picked up. Hub went back to the car for a breather whilst I nipped to the bakery.

Once back home we decided on ham cheese & tomato rolls for lunch, with a cuppa soup.During the afternoon we did a couple of little jobs, I filled another charity bag. I grabbed this shot from the kitchen for todays blip at my second attempt, fortunately I know the magpies are greedy birds and come back for double dips, he didnt let me down ;-)

Hubs team was on tv is evening, an early kick off, but no celebrations, he was disappointed by their managers team selection.....which proved lacking :-/

Dinner this evening was chinese crispy beef with stir fried veg and noodles in a sweet chilli sauce, followed by fresh fruit and vienetta :-)

Looks as though we are in for a wettish day tomorrow.......I was hoping to do some tidying in the garden, heyho :-(

As ever, thank you to those fab blippers who have already shown there support for my walking challenge, you can still donate, by way of clicking this, link if you'd like :-)
