The neighbours either in the flat downstairs or two across seem to fail to realise that there is an optimal time to collect washing falling sometime between hanging it up and before it starts raining two weeks later. Similarly it perhaps needs to be pointed out that washing which falls to the ground will not reattach itself to the line without human intervention.
