Views to Die For

....above Vichères to the Bec Rond in the Valais looking towards the Mont Blanc Range, the other ladies of the group striding out here. Unfortunately we are having a lot of Sahara dust in the atmosphere hence the strange sky colour so I shall have to go again! The high temperatures have softened the snow so skiing was not as easy as it often is here apparently. However to get to the downhill bit required a tricky, and very icy traverse as you can see in the extra. I was very glad to get off that! So good to be able to invite friends back afterwards for coffee and cake on the balcony, it was really warm at home today.
