LD 337 Stormy way to work
I had to go to Edinburgh this morning as I am due to be in the Parliament this week.
I set off from home after Cabinet (which is these days always by phone) but the Rest & Be Thankful was closed (as my extra photo shows) and the wind was so high that the ferry crossing was not certain.
Consequently I had to drive the long way, via Dalmally, Tyndrum, Lochearnhead, Callander and Stirling.
The weather was a bit better the further east I got but at Inveraray the high tide was adding to the problems with Loch Fyne breaking over the bridge whilst everywhere more water was pouring down the hills than I think I have ever seen.
