Sense Of Humour Failure
Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,
Albert asked if I could organise a new phone contract for him so I spent some time chatting to (the very helpful) Tom from Vodaphone to have this arranged.
It took about an hour as Tom was having a few issues (“it’s a nightmare working from home. I have to be my own IT support”) but he battled through and we got there. To process the order, he had to check Albert was happy with the new contract.
Albert agreed and assuming it was the end of the call, handed my phone back and said “Well, I don’t think THAT guy has much of a sense of humour.”
And of course Tom was still on the line!
