Old Ginger cat on Petre Crescent
I got all my housework done in the morning. Getting up half an hour earlier than usual makes a good difference. It was a cloudy start but by midday the sky was blue and the sunlight was pouring in. Arthur
soaked up the rays on the front room window sill. I finished reading a Kindle book about the visions of an amazing woman, a Germany Saint in the making called Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. As you know I am avidly interested in the lives of the holy saints. It takes a confirmed miracle for the Pope to declare them a canonised saint.
I felt heart touched by her visions of the life of Mother Mary.
Then, it was time to get some exercise, so I found the camera and set off to the post box on the High Street to send my Mum a notecard and to say I was praying for her to recover. My sister phoned last evening to say Mum had turned a corner and the anti biotics have cleared the infection. Mum is still weak but much better than two days ago.
I enjoyed my walk around Petre Crescent and spotted this dear old ginger cat sitting in the sunshine on a recycling bin.
On my way home I had a socially distanced chat with 100 year old Olive. She is a really warm hearted lady and had received both vaccines. I hope she continues to remain healthy.
Thanks for recent comments and stars blip friends. Spring is in the air.
