HUH!

The weather being somewhat less inclement (Does that qualify as a "Double negative"?) I had the the odd wander and click plus a check on the resident amphibians.  I always hear splashes / see ripples but almost never a Frog. 
I have seen "Frogs' Porn" as early as St. Valentine's day, and as late as 2nd 1/2 of march - but not this year.
Today I was struck by what, at first, seemed to be an attack of grass clippings.  Closer inspection proved them to be a veritable horde of Aponogeton seedlings, see "The Hand"; most of which will, like as not, "die in child-birth".  Either that or I'll soon be able to walk on water.
