Who is she?

She adorns the southern wall of St Aldate's Church, Oxford. Although the church was founded in 12th century, I think she was added in the 19th century. The church was constantly being rebuilt and refurbished and there has been so much written about it, but not a word about this beautiful woman squinting into the sun.

I'm sorry not to have been commenting this week - I'm looking forward to catching up with all your journals soon. I've seen the consultant this week and am now on the waiting list for my next operation and hopefully that will be soon, the end is in sight!!
