It Was Cold In Maine Today!

Icicles hanging right above the front steps at the Westport Island house greeted us, but it was a beautiful sunny day so we couldn't really complain.  Another load delivered, and some flat pack furniture assembly was conducted, although quickly stymied by a distinct lack of requisite wooden dowels which had somehow not been included in the shipment of a chest of drawers, and one of four legs of a bench which had been incorrectly machined, so it would not fit where it was meant to go.  Very tedious, as I will now have to contact the supplier and either wait for a replacement leg, or a completely different bench to be shipped.

Extras:  Mabel and her noble shadow enjoying a quick sunbath at Portside in Boothbay Harbor (painting is progressing nicely there I am happy to report!), and Mr. W holding up the carved house sign we just received for Sweet Haven -- we'll wait for balmier weather before permanently installing it!
