Diary of an Edinburgher

Graveyard stroll

It’s often the way - the games in the earlier rounds are much better than the finals. And so it was today in the men’s Aussie Open. I didn’t bother watching it when I saw what was happening. But well done Melbourne on putting on the tournament, and completing it. I’m sure there are a few sighs of relief now it’s over, with no major COVID outbreaks.

Becky and Daniel took Archie out for a walk. And they had a nice sunny day on the Meadows with no wind. Though it’s still a bit squashy on the grass.

In the afternoon we took a walk round the graveyard - JR had never been there. Archie loves it there.

I’ve spent most of the day reading the Sunday papers, so not much else to report.
