Unfolding Scaffolding
Today's image was taken in Maidstone on they way home from food shopping. It was a glorious day - strong sunshine, blue skies and almost t-shirt wearing temperatures. I would love to have been able to sit in a beer garden with a pint!
We seem to have gone from one extreme to the other - not even above freezing during the day ten days ago to the mid teens today and expected to get even warmer by the middle of next week. Crazy!
Unfortunately, we didn't really get the full benefit of it as we had already been out for our permitted exercise (an early morning run) - but at least we could still get out into our garden. I feel so sorry for people that are not lucky enough to have a garden during lockdown.
Today's image was taken at Springfield on the outskirts of Maidstone. It used to house a 200 year-old paper mill and a public library but these have now both been demolished (apart from the mill chimney) to make way for another housing development including high rise flats, which are currently under construction (hence the scaffolding).
