Finsterwald

What an absolutely gorgeous day, perfect for a trip somewhere new. I was a little bit late setting off, but headed to Finsterwald, a tiny village above Entlebuch. I was planning to walk on the Winterwanderweg, but there wasn’t really much left of the snow! So after following this route, decided the hiking paths would also be clear of snow, but this wasn’t the case as I fought through deep snow in the forest. Very glad to have the trekking poles. Altogether about 7km, wearing clothes that were way too warm!
