Fame

One of us has had a good day: I opened today's Guardian to find this picture of Intensive Care doctors on a Covid ward, and realised that one of them is Mrs ER. The celebrity status will not go to her head although she has spent the day sending copies to all and sundry, in a very self-effacing way. And I now have to make appointments to speak to her via her "PR people."

On the other hand, for the second time in less than a year, one of the lenses of my specs has popped-out and smashed.  I think this must be a side-effect of Covid. Just as well I have an appointment for an eye test on Thursday. Finding the spare pair whilst unable to see clearly was great fun!
