Connected again!

Miraculously the Internet and phone line got reconnected mid-morning. It seems there were quite a few villages affected so more efforts were made to fix the problem than if it had been just a few.
It snowed quite a bit more overnight so though it wasn't so cold today, there was quite a bit of fresh white snow around at first, becoming increasingly slushy through the day.
It was market day today but not surprisingly there were only two stalls - and almost no customers. Only the main roads had been properly cleared. But I had a good chat with a couple from the next village who had braved the tiny, steep, winding road here in their 4x4.
I took the photo around midday by which time the snow was disappearing fast. The rather faint snow-capped mountain in the background is Pendeli on the mainland, the other side of the Evian gulf.
In the evening I spent 4 hours glued to the screen watching catch-up tennis - Tsitsipas beating Nadal in the Australian Open. Really exciting match with the right result for any Greek!
