Snow!

There was a massive very noisy electric storm during the night, and then it snowed... quite a lot, and continued to snow most of the day. Very cold, and very pretty, and rare for here. The power was cut off for several hours, and the internet and ilandline were cut off for over 24 hours... and there was virtually no mobile signal at my house. Very weird to be suddenly disconnected! The car was buried and the road thick with snow, so I tramped up the hill to the main road, where at least there was a mobile signal, and sat in the bus stop shelter for a while to make a few phone calls and send messages.
