Crashed da Volvo

Windy again, and more rain.  The rain eased in the afternoon, but more showers tonight.

Another day working in the museum.  I met up with mam and Julie for lunch.  I had to nip down the road to fix dad's computer, and also dropped off his birthday present.  Walkies with Sammy after the showers passed, and now feet up with a movie.  A local fundraiser started today, to help the family from yesterday's tragic accident.  Almost £30,000 raised so far.

I had been looking through old photos, and came across this one, when I crashed the old Volvo into the peat stack, in 1992 aged 11.  Dad made sit, while he fetched the camera, and then made me rebuild the peat stack.  The car was an old taxi, owned by Ian Burns, and I often drove old cars around the croft, from a young age.  It's been a while since I tried this method of recreating an old photo, and will try and do more this year.  A good way to share old memories.  Taken on the same spot, at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
