Snowdrops Popping Up

A beautiful sunny and calm morning, even felt warm in the sun.  After lunch, the mist came down over the hills, and the wind picked up to gales, bringing rain this evening. 

Off for the weekend, and up early.  A day puttering about the house, chores done, and washing.  Big Brian and Madeline popped by the garden this morning.  Peerie Brian got his vaccine today, they told him they are getting 300 done a day here.  My walkies with Sammy were just around Scalloway.  Working in the shop this evening.  More walkies with Sammy, and then feet up. 

Signs of spring starting to appear now, and that sun today must have fairly got things coming along.  Daffodil bulbs shooting up, I even saw some crocuses in bloom too.  My snowdrops have been a bit late this year, after the big freeze, but they are finally popped up, just hope they don't get battered by the winds tonight.  Taken in our garden, Houl Road, Scalloway.
