A little sun and
a little blue sky can make

The river has only a few open channels but the resident ducks were making the most of them. We had a bit of melt and freeze this last week so I see ice shelving along the rivershore. A light dusting of snow overnight made today's footprints stand out clearly. A couple of ravens were evident. As I was leaving, they swooped down to pick up some of the duck food that people had left. I am relieved to see our daytime temperatures are coming up. I would love to be out again in the mornings with my camera.
