Tollcross Loos

Noticed earlier in the week that  West Tollcross Public Toilets have been demolished.  They were one of ten closed in 2015 to save the Council £300,000 and then put up for sale.  At that time the Council said they would lessen the impact of the closures by establishing a 'Community Toilet Scheme'  with interested businesses.  The idea is that businesses allow the public to use their toilet facilities without making a purchase and they get an annual payment from the Council.  I'm not aware that anything has happend with this idea. I'm also not sure if the Tollcross toilets were sold and this is a developer demolition or if it is a Council demolition.
