Farm Fruit
Towards the beginning of the first lockdown, when we were seriously worried about accessing food, we subscribed to a local farm’s website and ordered a small bag of fruit to arrive every two weeks. We have continued the arrangement.
We have no control over what arrives, it’s a surprise. Currently careful tendering of the orange and melon groves of Cheshire mean those fruit are in season. There are always apples - these two did not survive into the afternoon.
And - postscript - the oranges have not survived the evening.
