Feeling grateful

This morning I had the Sinovac Corona-19 vaccine at Didim Government hospital.  I am truly impressed at the whole process from booking my appointment via the phone app to walking out just a few minutes after walking in.  No queues, no waiting, and now, no Covid.

And this evening, (still) no side effects.

I feel that I am a little part of history.  Second jab on or around 24th March.
I do hope that researchers across the globe are earning a good salary for saving so many lives.

Graham and I then went to the shop that sells Heinz Baked Beans and other special imported goodies where I also bought HP brown sauce, Lea and Perrin's Worcestershire sauce, and a great chunk of beautifully mottled Danish Blue. Next door, a new music shop has opened selling mostly guitars and bağlama (pictured).  Loved the decor which also included some ancient Ottoman instruments.

Long catch up video call with Celeste this evening, and a bit of work on my online course about teaching IELTS.

Weather wise - super sunny and the wind is much calmer today.

Feeling good
