Outside in

Yesterday's wind has grown overnight in to a full force howling gale from Russia gusting in excess of 70mph. It was a challenge to walk to the bins, and taking a photo outside was impossible.  My home looks like a cat shelter this evening.  It's extremely cold, so I'm glad we only had one power cut this morning.  I've covered the kitchen window with cling film to keep out the draught and stuffed towels along the window sill. Haven't done that since university bedsit days!  These summer holiday homes aren't really built for such weather which is scheduled to last a couple more days.
