Platypus

This is only the second time, in my over 70 years, that I've seen a platypus in the wild. We walked into the southern Tasmanian bush for an hour, to a small lake called Duckhole. Then watched for 1/2 an hour as this platypus circled the lake. For a while it came up to the bank very close to us and stirred the lakeshore mud, presumably searching for food - see extra.
