"strawberry fields forever"

This is one of several tokens I brought back from Jayney and I's adventure to Wimbledon in 2010 - my car keys key-ring! It just had to be a strawberry! :)

When we were there I remember someone telling us that all of the strawberries are inspected by hand every morning and if they don't meet all the quality requirements then they don't go on sale! If memory serves me right, the Wimbledon strawberry and cream experience was worth the wait!! :) We must go back again soon! We've caught the Wimbledon bug and it's never going to leave us!

Tomorrow is St.David's Day so I might try and experiment with a welsh baking recipe in the next 48 hrs - welsh cakes are the front runner at the minute, closely followed by Rhubarb shortcake - I quite like the sound of that!
