The Approach to Big Daddy

I couldn't keep away. The scramble from the bottom to the top of the gorge is quite an expedition but I keep being drawn back in search of new delights. A big part of the beauty is in its very ephemerality. A change in the weather is coming and it will soon be but a memory. I won't be too sorry. I think a lot of energy is required to keep warm in this weather. It doesn't seem to leave much for anything else.
